In Episode #021 of CrisisCast 2020 | Katharina Mullen
Katharina Mullen from bevital.eu was dropping so many woke wisdom bombs in the pre record I just pressed record because I didn’t want to interrupt her!
Katharina is a German who now lives in Brussels, Belgium and also, (normally) in the Netherlands and Italy.
She helps her clients develop vitalising leadership and resilient co-working relationships. She has more than thirty years of experience in organisations and a background in cultural and medical anthropology and in mindfulness training.
In this chat we cover so much! Digital proficiency. Risk and Opportunity and why we must use the wings of this Crisis.
I discover the difference between practical mindfulness and stoicism and that Connecting to reality is much safer than dreaming of your own anxieties. One for a quiet walk perhaps… enjoy.
My Guest:
Managing Director & Founder of BeVital
Clients choose her for her creative guidance and multi-disciplinary approach.
She supports them in building vitalising leadership and resilient co-working.
She has been working with organisations in difficulties as well as with thriving businesses.
Whatever happened - people made it happen: as humans we create our world, and this applies equally to professionals in the workplace.
Her clients know her for enhancing the human aspects of leadership and co-working in order to contribute to continuity of the business - knowing that the bottom-line depends on people bringing their responsibility and creativity.
She combines more than thirty years of experience in organisations with a background in cultural & medical anthropology and in mindfulness training.
After obtaining her Master's degree in Cultural & Medical Anthropology she spent the first 10 years of her career as researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Social & Preventive Medicine of the University at Leyden and as head of Preventive Medicine at the Teachers’ College Rotterdam, specialized in participative health promotion.
Thereafter, she joined the corporate world and specialized in supporting change and transformation processes to be conducted in a human dignified way.
In 1992, she founded her own company that has evolved to serve her clients' changing needs and currently concentrates on Vitality Training, Mentoring and Advice to support organizations in managing personal energy: vital people make vital organisations.
